We believe that both are better with a community that is founded on connecting, supporting, and elevating each other, not competition. We approach creativity and business from a feminine energy that honors that a community is more than the sum of its parts. The synergy that is created when we are invested in our mutual growth and success multiplies our efforts.
If you are looking for bad-ass role models, mentors and peers that you can’t wait to learn from, that’s the community we are cultivating. In every specialty of photography, there are multiple roles that you play and need support in. We’re invested in your success and are here to support you.
All are welcome who resonate with our mission and vision, although we will have a special emphasis on supporting U.S.-based Latina/e photographers. By Latina and Latine we mean all woman-identifying and gender-expansive folk whose cultural identity, whole or in part, recent or multi-generational, is rooted in Latin America, a group that has not historically been given access to the photography industry.

Reasons to Create a Listing on the OLL Directory
Opportunity
Our Latina Len’s work elevating and featuring Latina/e photographers has invited occasional requests to come through our Instagram DMs requesting suggestions for photographers for work opportunities in various cities in the U.S. As teh directory is populated, we are able to send the link to the directory instead of putting out calls for interest in our stories or scanning our IG connections for possible matches. We are confident that photographers have been hired through our connections and it’s one of proudest achievements.
Community
As our directory grows, you will be able to find other fotografa/es in your area to collaborate, learn with and hire (second shooter or retoucher anyone?) It was important for us to be able to include photography related skills so that we can support one another if we are looking to hire a team.

Fotógrafa Member Community
